A mountain view mixed with clouds in the valley, a breath of fresh air, and a peaceful atmosphere surrounds my place— it’s a typical tropical “winter” season, as they call it here.
Where on earth is this paradise?
Costa Rica.
Costa Rica is like my second home, and I cherish every moment knowing that it’s a privilege to witness such beauty every day. Some days that means working from my laptop while in my hammock and surrounded by nature. Most importantly, I get the freedom to be with the people and animals that I love.
Working at Paystone has given me the freedom to work anywhere, as long as I have an internet connection to do remote work.

I’m not saying that it’s all rainbows and butterflies living in this paradise – there are definitely some challenges. The biggest challenge is probably finding decent internet connections in rural areas, as many parts of the country are still quite remote. But overall, I absolutely love Costa Rica.
For me, it is a land of mountains and beaches surrounded by wild nature and teeming with lush vegetation. It’s a country where you can find many things to do, whether you’re looking for adventure or simply wanting to relax and enjoy the magical scenery. I’m one of the many digital nomads that have chosen to work remotely in a place that offers an incredibly low cost of living, beautiful nature, friendly people, and a relaxed lifestyle.
I have been traveling here for the past ten years, and I’ve always dreamed of finding a way to work remotely from Costa Rica. Finally, thanks to Paystone, that dream has become a reality.
